What exactly is an open-minded party?
More than a party, a mindset. An open-minded party is a private evening for people who are open to flirting, intimacy and connection outside the usual boundaries, with nothing required. Instead of an open door we work with a guest list, and instead of anonymity we work with hosts who actively watch over the atmosphere, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
That starts online. Within The Pineapple Club, contact grows through discovering who's there, deepening that contact in a private setting, and then actually meeting in real life. An evening is rarely the first step, more often the moment where something that already started, continues.
A parenclub, but different
What's the difference with a parenclub?
Something in between, with its own character. A parenclub is usually a fixed venue with a fixed atmosphere, open year-round, where intimacy with others is one of the possibilities, but never a requirement. Our evenings work differently: no fixed venue, but changing formats and cities, with a carefully curated guest list per edition instead of a membership at a physical club.

Who it's for
Who is an open-minded party for?
Couples form the core, but not the whole evening. You don't have to be a couple to join. Single women are warmly welcome and get extra attention from our hosts from the very first moment, and can attend events fully solo too. Single men can simply sign up; we deliberately monitor the balance within the community, and may temporarily pause sign-ups for men if that balance comes under pressure.

Safety & consent
How is safety and consent safeguarded?
Safety isn't an afterthought. Our code of conduct has sixteen principles, from "consent is essential" to "no cameras without permission", and applies to profiles, messages, photos and events. Hosts and moderators actively uphold that standard during events, not just on paper. Verification is an optional extra layer on top of the standard per-Space review, never required and never with an ID document.

Which cities are you active in?
We've already held editions in Utrecht, Den Bosch, Breda and Amsterdam, and we're expanding to new cities. Not every city has a scheduled edition at every moment. The next edition is a Bar Dates evening in The Hague, on Saturday 21 November.
Your first time
Where do I start if it's my first time?
You don't have to start with the flagship. Through updates in your account, you first build a picture of what's happening within the community. Bar Dates is deliberately the most low-key concept: an evening at a regular bar, no required programme, where you get used to the atmosphere and the people at your own pace. Only once that feels right do you take the step towards something more exclusive like The Pineapple Club Night.
