For single men at The Pineapple Club

Access for single men involves one extra step with us: we monitor the community's balance. Here's how that works, and why safety, balance and trust come first.

Article

We regularly get asked whether single men can join The Pineapple Club too. We understand that question well. Connection doesn't only happen between couples and women, men too can be a valuable, respectful and genuine part of an open-minded community.

At the same time, a community like ours needs balance. Relatively speaking, there's often more interest from men than from couples and women. That's why we actively protect that balance: single men can simply sign up just like everyone else, but if the community's balance comes under pressure, we may temporarily pause sign-ups for men.

How do you protect the balance?

Because The Pineapple Club's atmosphere is fragile and valuable. We want everyone to feel free, safe and at ease, and that starts with a healthy balance between couples, single women and single men within the community.

Sign-ups for single men are simply open, just like for everyone else. If the balance comes under pressure, we may pause sign-ups for men temporarily, until that balance is right again.

Not because men aren't welcome, but because we take the community's balance and safety seriously.

How does signing up work for men?

You simply fill in an application via /en/apply/, just like everyone else: who you are, what you're looking for, and why you fit the community. No introduction or invitation is needed to get started.

You're welcome on the platform right away: no review and no fixed quota. We protect the community's balance by pausing sign-ups for men temporarily if needed, not by judging individual applications more strictly.

Signing up isn't a guarantee of full access

Signing up doesn't grant automatic access to every Space. Some Spaces have their own admission criteria, just as for other members, for example around motivation, profile and how you present yourself: does that fit our core values, such as respect, consent, discretion, style and genuine connection?

We're not looking for perfect people. We're looking for people who understand that freedom only stays enjoyable when everyone treats each other with care.

Your profile matters a lot

As with all accounts, a free account will be limited. That's exactly why a complete, well cared-for and genuine profile matters. You don't stand out by shouting louder, but by clearly showing who you are, what you're looking for, and why you fit the community.

Ultimately, you determine your own success. A respectful attitude, a complete profile, genuine attention and patience work better than haste or pressure.

Can I come to an event as a single man?

Yes, that's always possible. Is your friendly couple coming to an event, are you being brought along as a plus-one, or have you arranged a date that fits the event? Then you're very welcome, as long as that event's access and ticket phase allow for it.

We want people to be able to get to know The Pineapple Club through trusted connections. That's why some events work with plus-ones or later ticket waves. That keeps the evening open enough to meet new people, while still careful enough to protect the atmosphere.

What if I find a great partner?

Should you find a partner, through the community or elsewhere, and want to take part together, we can convert your account into a couple's account. That way your profile keeps matching how you actually take part in the community.

What we expect from single men

We expect the same as from everyone: respect, calm, attention, consent and discretion. But because single men often show interest in larger numbers, we pay extra close attention to motivation and attitude.

The Pineapple Club isn't a place you come to take from. It's a community you contribute to: to the atmosphere, the safety and the trust of others. Whoever understands that has the right foundation.

Frequently asked questions
