First time at The Pineapple Club

What to expect the first time you join us: no surprises, just a warm welcome.

Article

Your first time at The Pineapple Club is allowed to feel a little exciting. Maybe you discovered us through friends, received a personal invitation, or have been following us online for a while and wonder: is this something for us, or for me?

That doubt makes sense. The Pineapple Club isn't a standard night out. It's also not a place you simply walk into without a feel for the people, the atmosphere or the agreements. That's exactly why we like to explain what you can expect. Calmly, honestly, and without pressure.

First, this: nothing is required

The most important idea behind The Pineapple Club is simple: everything starts with comfort. You're allowed to be curious, and you're allowed to doubt. You're also welcome to come just to feel the atmosphere, or to dance and talk all night without going a single step further than feels right.

An open-minded community only works if everyone understands that freedom and consideration for each other go together. That's why consent isn't a separate little rule for us, it's the foundation of the evening.

A smile isn't consent. A conversation isn't a promise. And a no never needs an explanation.

How does applying work?

Getting an account on the platform takes a few minutes, no review. Want to join The Pineapple Club, the Space this article is about? Then you separately apply for access to that Space: we don't just ask for practical details, but also for a bit of feeling: who are you, why are you curious, and what are you looking for in a community like this? That helps us better understand whether the atmosphere is a match.

After that, we review your application with care. Sometimes that's quick, sometimes it takes a little more time. We don't look for perfection, but for intention. Does someone fit a community where respect, style, discretion and connection matter? Then a good match often follows naturally.

Why does The Pineapple Club review applications for this Space?

Because the atmosphere in a private community is fragile. However beautifully an evening is styled, if the people aren't right, the experience isn't right either. That's why we'd rather be careful than fast.

That review isn't there to exclude people based on looks, status or experience. It's about energy, intention and trust. We want members to feel safe enough to be themselves, precisely because they know not everyone simply walks in.

What happens the first time you arrive?

At an event, you're welcomed by our team or our hosts. They then help you settle in, answer questions, and make sure the first step doesn't have to feel awkward. Depending on the concept, there may be a check-in, a no-phone policy, and a clear explanation of the space, the atmosphere and the evening's agreements.

After that, it's up to you. You can look around calmly, get a drink, meet people, dance, or just get comfortable. No one expects you to be part of everything right away. In fact, taking it slow fits exactly the atmosphere we want to build.

What do you wear?

For us, a dress code isn't a costume requirement, it's a way of paying attention to the evening. Think stylish, well put-together, sensual, and fitting the concept. Your outfit doesn't need to be extreme. What matters most is that you show you made an effort and feel comfortable in what you're wearing.

At Bar Dates, that might lean more cocktail, elegant or casual chic. At a Club Night, it's allowed to be bolder, more exciting and more nightlife-inspired. For every event, we make clear what's expected, so you don't have to guess.

Coming as a couple?

For couples, a first time can feel extra special. You're not just discovering the community, but also how you handle attention, flirting and new energy together. Our advice: talk beforehand, calmly, about what feels good for both of you. What are you looking forward to? What feels exciting? Where are your boundaries? And what do you agree on if one of you stops feeling comfortable?

A good evening often starts before you even leave the house. Not with strict rules, but with openness toward each other.

Coming as a single woman?

As a single woman too, you're welcome at The Pineapple Club. We understand that safety, approach and balance feel extra important then. That's why we pay attention to the mix of people in the community and the atmosphere during events. You don't have to be talkative, and you don't have to figure everything out alone. Hosts are there precisely to give you a gentle landing whenever that helps.

What if you still find it exciting?

Then you're probably exactly human enough for this community. Curiosity and nerves are allowed to exist side by side. You don't have to be sure of everything before you apply. It's enough if you feel you want to explore with respect, openness and attention.

Your first time doesn't have to be grand. Sometimes simply walking in is already the most beautiful step.

The atmosphere of The Pineapple Club

What we want to build isn't a big, impersonal crowd. It's a stylish community where people meet each other with softness, curiosity and respect. Sometimes lively, sometimes subtle, sometimes exciting, but always with an eye for each other.

If that's what you're looking for, your first time at The Pineapple Club might not just be a night out. It might be the start of a world where you're allowed to feel just a little more free.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know someone to apply?

No. A personal invitation can help, but isn't always necessary. What matters most is that your application shows who you are and why you fit the community.

Can I just observe quietly at first?

Yes. You don't have to jump straight into a big event. Through updates, Bar Dates, or an easy first introduction, you can get a feel for the atmosphere first.

Are phones allowed at events?

For many concepts, we work with a no-phone policy or clear restrictions. That protects our guests' privacy and peace of mind.

What if I feel uncomfortable at an event?

Speak to a host or someone from our team. We take signals seriously and want everyone to feel safe enough to set boundaries.
