What is a Space at The Pineapple Club?

A Space is a community within The Pineapple Club platform: its own group with its own audience, atmosphere and, where needed, its own admission criteria. You don't need to join a separate site or app for every group, you create one platform account and then join the Spaces that fit you.

Every Space decides eight things for itself: the audience, the age limit, the topic, the access model, how visible members are within that Space, whether approval is required, whether there's a verification requirement, and its own community rules. So a Space for couples and singles aged 21 and over can have different rules than a Space open only to women, or one built around a specific interest.

From one private club to a platform with Spaces

It used to be that everyone had to be personally approved before joining The Pineapple Club. That's changed: you create an account on the platform right away, with no review. Admission and any additional requirements are now handled per Space, not for the whole platform at once.

So access to the platform doesn't automatically mean access to every Space. Some Spaces, like The Pineapple Club itself, personally review every application. Others, like HER HOUSE or a regional Space, don't require separate approval and are open as soon as you meet the basic requirements.

For example

Think of The Pineapple Club, the original and most private Space, with personal approval. Or HER HOUSE, a Space specifically for women. Other Spaces are built around an age category like Under 40, a relationship type like Couples, or a region like South Holland. The platform keeps adding to this as the community grows.
